About Us
Our specialist in-house packaging innovation division, Design First, is located at our Cape Town campus to support all Polyoak divisions in packaging research, development and creative design, with the customer at the heart of the process.
Design First conducts analysis of packaging design trends, advanced simulations of concepts and technical analysis. We develop new packaging concepts, and also redesign existing packs, utilising rendered images and 3D printing of prototypes.
The team focuses on practical and innovative solutions with impactful aesthetic appeal, guided by the latest sustainable design principles to ensure our packaging is recyclable and fit for purpose.
Design First works closely with Polyoak’s in-house mould design and manufacture division, Mould Services, to ensure a smooth transition from design to manufacture.
