African Closures is a division of Polyoak Packaging. We specialise in plastic closures for food, beverage and industrial applications.

About Us

African Closures designs and manufactures fully recyclable plastic closures for food, beverage and industrial applications specialising in high volume closures with impactful decoration.

Our high speed injection and compression moulding facilities are located in Cape Town with extensive distribution networks into Africa. We partner with our customers to develop the optimal solution by managing the complete process from design to manufacture and delivery.

Our extended service includes the rental of capping equipment with the necessary technical field support, analytical testing and microbiological analysis, offered by our Quality Services division.

Design First provides in-house packaging research, development and creative design support, working closely with our dedicated in-house mould design, manufacture and maintenance division, Mould Services.

Our Closures

Our lightweight range of tamper-evident dairy, juice, water and carbonated closures is available in various colours with impactful print, debossing and laser marking inside for promotional campaigns.

We also specialise in sportscaps, fliptops and closures conveniently designed to sprinkle, pour, drip, spray or spread to expand product usage occasions to help grow your brand and build consumer engagement.

We offer technically functional closures including child-resistant mechanisms, tap caps, spouts, trigger spray systems and industrial closures with induction heat seals and osmosis vents.
